Pregnancy

Pregnancy is one of the most significant experiences in a woman's life. Dr. Rodriguez has performed thousands of deliveries across his career and brings decades of experience to every prenatal visit.

Prenatal care begins with confirmation of pregnancy and continues through delivery. Regular visits allow your provider to monitor the health of both mother and baby, catch potential complications early, and answer the many questions that arise throughout pregnancy.

Care includes routine screenings, ultrasounds, glucose testing, blood pressure monitoring, and guidance on nutrition, activity, and what to expect at each stage. As your due date approaches, your provider will discuss your birth plan, labor options, and what to watch for as signs that delivery may be near.

Common changes during pregnancy — such as nausea, fatigue, back pain, and mild swelling — are normal, but some symptoms require prompt attention. Heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, severe headache, vision changes, chest pain, or a sudden decrease in fetal movement should always be reported right away.
